Продажба на елхи. / Sale of Christmas trees.

Винаги сме предпочитали истинска елха. Но през 2005 година аз купих много изгодно една изкуствена елха - "втора употреба". Тя е била украса предната година в един от магазините на мои приятели. А на следващата Коледа - те имаха нова украса, а продаваха елхата. Така аз се сдобих с изкуствена елха / за 5 лева!/ и оттогава не купуваме елхи. По-добре, нали? Пестиш пари, а и не унищожаваш дърветата. Всяка година снимаме Влади пред елхата - да видим колко е пораснал!
We always prefer a real Christmas tree. But in 2005 I bought a very profitable one synthetic Christmas tree - "second hand". It was decorated the previous year in one of the shops of my friends. And next Christmas - they had new decorations and they sell the the tree.
Every year we photograph Vlady before Christmas tree - see how he's grown!

За Коледното тържество в училище децата предпочетоха отново да направя сладките гъбки / масленки/.

The kids chose again the sweet mushroom / shortbread / for their Christmas party at school.

2 and 1/2 cups flour
1 cup pig fat
1 cup powdered sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa, coffee or cinnamon

Това са ръчно направени играчки за елха. Купих ги вчера от едно момиче. Може да ги намерите пред Халите. Звездата е плетена. Топката е от кайсиева костилка, а както забелязвате - тялото на човечето е шишарка!
Много ми харесаха! Купих няколко шишарки и подарих на приятелките си в кварталните магазинчета - за украса!

These are hand-made toys for the Christmas tree. I bought them yesterday from a girl.
The star is knitted.

Децата в училище ще си разменят подаръци. Това става на случаен принцип - те теглеха чоп. Влади ще подарява на Мая - една от близначките. Така че, аз купих два подаръка - и за двете момичета, но ще ги покажа в петък - след тяхното тържество. Довечера трябва да направя сладки, които той ще носи в училище.

Children in school will exchange gifts. This happens randomly - they had a list of names. Vlady will be gives to Maya - one of the twins.
So, I bought two gifts - for both girls, but will show them on Friday - after their celebration.
I have to make cookies for the same celebration at school.

About three weeks ago from the blog Elizabeth O. Dulemba I learned about the opportunity to get free posters with quotes. I signed and the author sent them to me by email.

What I did with them are these three fridge magnets. The dimensions of each magnet is 6sm./9sm. - Look good and are a great gift.

Gavin Aung Than of Zen Pencils is taking profound quotes from famous authors and turning them into lovely graphics.
